Lebanon on Fire !!

Sad but true, Lebanon is entirely on fire, all bushes, forests and pine trees are being consumed. The government confirmed yesterday the fact that some one is behind the mass wildfires..

We lack machines and manpower..

Syrian president threatened to turn Lebanon into rubble, and this could be a method of doing so..

Time and time again

I am back from visiting Euro Militaire, yet another of my dreams has been fullfilled.. It seems that material things can be achieved easy enough, at least these days.

3 days before the departures to the UK i had 3 consecutive appearances, 3 dreams, and all 3 had meanings and a message.

Heading to Folkstone

I will be leaving London tomorrow morning, been there for 5 days now, and all i can say is that i have - i tried - to walk it from end to end. Hence the term: I-ran London.

London is a very nice city, mixed with every race humanity can throw at. Different than any place i have been so far.

I am hoping the weather would be good this weekend.
Stay tuned for full show coverage.

for a while..

for a while the world stopped,
my window view seemed to be going backwards
it hit me with a flash, but hey it was coming any way.
If not today, then when.

I will never be free, all my life, trapped in her memory
all my life.

The Killers

On the corner of main street
Just tryin' to keep it in line
You say you wanna move on and
You say I'm falling behind

Can you read my mind?
Can you read my mind?

I never really gave up on
Breakin' out of this two-star town
I got the green light
I got a little fight
I'm gonna turn this thing around

Can you read my mind?
Can you read my mind?

The good old days, the honest man;
The restless heart, the Promised Land
A subtle kiss that no one sees;
A broken wrist and a big trapeze

Oh well I don't mind, you don't mind
Cause I don't shine if you don't shine
Before you go, can you read my mind?

It’s funny how you just break down
Waitin' on some sign
I pull up to the front of your driveway
With magic soakin' my spine

Can you read my mind?
Can you read my mind?

The teenage queen, the loaded gun;
The drop dead dream, the Chosen One
A southern drawl, a world unseen;
A city wall and a trampoline

Oh well I don't mind, you don't mind
Cause I don't shine if you don't shine
Before you go
Tell me what you find when you read my mind

Slippin’ in my faith until I fall
You never returned that call
Woman, open the door, don't let it sting
I wanna breathe that fire again

She said
Oh well I don't mind, you don't mind
Cause I don't shine if you don't shine

Put your back on me
Put your back on me
Put your back on me

The stars are blazing like rebel diamonds cut out of the sun
When you read my mind

How To Save A Life

Step one you say we need to talk
He walks you say sit down it's just a talk
He smiles politely back at you
You stare politely right on through
Some sort of window to your right
As he goes left and you stay right
Between the lines of fear and blame
And you begin to wonder why you came

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

Let him know that you know best
Cause after all you do know best
Try to slip past his defense
Without granting innocence
Lay down a list of what is wrong
The things you've told him all along
And pray to God he hears you

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

As he begins to raise his voice
You lower yours and grant him one last choice
Drive until you lose the road
Or break with the ones you've followed
He will do one of two things
He will admit to everything
Or he'll say he's just not the same
And you'll begin to wonder why you came

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

Conversing with April

It’s been 2 weeks since the release of my 3rd book, Landing Zone Lebanon. Sales have been good and I have been busy working things out. I am keeping my self busy with what’s at hand, so few time left for thinking or imagining. Guess I am back to where I started, burying myself in work and hoping for better times ahead.

C I V I L W A R S

I started a new book project last night, i have been assembling photos for a project for weeks now and yesterday i started writing, so far i am loving the outcome. I feel that i am writing about a story so real and so close to me.

It will be about the war in Lebanon during the 1980s, and the various armies that participated. I stopped writing at 5 am. I will go back to my desk later today..

Blue Steel Books

Hi all,
In 1989, and during the most bitter days of the civil war in Lebanon, a small publication was created, it was made of rough photocopied pages, stapeled together, forming a bi-monthly magazine. It featured anything that i could use focusing on tanks and afvs being used ina ction in Lebanon. I sent the first issue to Military Modelling magazine and i was astounded to see a small review of my creation inside their Reviews sections.. With the review came subscribers, so i added a special colored centerfold and i started beefing up the contents.. In the end 12 issues were published, and i had no less than 77 subscribers to this kid's project..

Oh, I was 16 years old then !!! and the magazine was titled CIVIL WARS
